We proudly participate in several horse shows series in cooperation with other stables across the Northeast. We teach our riders to be prepared to, but not live to, horse show. Horse shows are a goal to work towards, a chance to assess what horse and rider have learned over a course of time in their work. We hold several horse shows of different disciplines each year. We try to attend 1-2 horse shows each month with a rotating group of riders in support of the following horse shows series.
At Heritage Farm we have a great facility for hosting horse shows. We offer plenty of parking, real bathrooms, food and water available, lots of warm up space and bleacher seating.
Heritage Farm participates in the following horse show series:
New England Stock Horse Series
The New England Stock Horse Series offers a ranch broke horse and his rider 5 individually judged classes: Ranch Pleasure, Reining, Trail, Cattle Work and Ranch Handiness in 4 divisions: Open, Non-Pro, Novice and Youth, all with reasonable entry fees. This series has been drawing riders from across New England and New York state. Many competitors in our stock show series have gone on to compete in the Equine Affaire’s Most Versatile Horse contest.
Unfortunately we have cancelled our dates for 2017.
Western New England Dressage Series
The Western New England Dressage Series offers tests for both English and Western dressage horses with points for Western New England Professional Horse Show Association (WNEPHA) members counting towards year end awards, given out at a banquet in February of each year.
